Introduction of Semi-solid Injection Molding Technology for Len Magnesium Alloy
As the lightest engineering metal material, magnesium alloy is known as "the green engineering material in the 21st century". The density of magnesium alloy is 1.74-1.85g/cm3, 36% lighter than aluminum alloy, 73% lighter than zinc alloy, and only about 1/4 of steel. Therefore, its specific strength and specific stiffness are higher, and it also has excellent damping, electromagnetic shielding, vibration reduction, machinability, polishing and surface treatment properties. From the performance characteristics of magnesium alloy, the material selection is in line with the light and thin style of the current pen. Disadvantages: poor corrosion resistance, low ignition point, low material strength, magnesium is very lively, the surface is easy to oxidize, such as to achieve high light effect, very difficult.

Russia develops anti-corrosion composite coating for magnesium alloy equipment
Researchers from the Department of Electrochemical Systems and Surface Modification Processes of the Institute of Chemistry of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have developed a polymer composite coating to protect magnesium alloys. Using this method, a surface structure with almost no defects can be formed on the surface of magnesium alloy. The research was funded by the Russian Science Foundation and was recently published in the Journal of Magnesium and Alloys.
What are the common bad conditions of magnesium alloy die castings?
So far, the process of magnesium alloy die-casting is immature and unstable. Although the process is not mature, magnesium alloy die-casting parts can still be produced. However, there are generally some adverse situations in production. What are the common adverse effects? Let's take a look at them with Jubao.
Why are magnesium alloy wheels not often seen on the market?
For cars, the wheel can be said to be an indispensable part of a car, as we all know, everyone uses the wheel is a kind of aluminum alloy wheel, some people will be more curious, why not use magnesium alloy wheels? Magnesium alloy material is not much lighter than aluminum alloy material?
Hot forming characteristics of magnesium alloy
The forming performance of magnesium in the hot state is much better than that in the cold state. Therefore, the forming of the workpiece is mostly carried out in the hot state, and the forming method and heating equipment are the same as those of aluminum, copper and other alloys. Of course, the tools and process parameters are different.
What is the difference between magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy?
I believe some people know that aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy in the non-ferrous alloy metal industry are relatively widely used in the modern industrial field. However, there is still a little difference in performance between the two. Next, let you know the difference between magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy.
